Spread betting is a type of gambling that can be used as an alternative to regular trading. Spread bets can be placed on many of the same markets as regular trading (such as the FOREX, FTSE 100 stock index). Spread betting is similar to binary betting, but it is not fixed odds betting, as a spread bet's profit and loss will vary with every price movement (as with regular trading).
